Baby Showers

We wanted a theme for a baby shower that wasn't quite the "norm". Something "different". So we went with a "POP" theme. Everything that "POPS", including the mommy-to-be. SOOO.. the first thing to do was find or create food and snacks that "POP". After we had a shopping list, the rest was fun!  ;o)



We had LolliPOPs personalized through

Oriental Trading Company





Here's an idea of the table...





We also made "Marshmellow POPs"
Pretty simple with pretzle stix, dip
in white chocolate and sit
in a plate of sprinkles!



Plain "POPtarts" were cut in quarters
and served with tongs. Made a
neat treat!




The wax "Soda POP" was a big hit,
and only $1 a dz at $ Tree.





Rice Crispy Treats were a little tricky

Instead of a traditional shower cake, we had cupcakes.
But not just any ole' cupcakes! We had "POPcorn" cupcakes.

The diaper cake was made to match the nursery's
print and color.

The clothes line had new clothes and
socks hanging for Mommy to take home.
