I decided on Christmas Eve eve (the 23rd) that my kitchen wasn't big enough. SO I decided to visit my local home improvement store and buy a 5' pre-fab cabinet.
The only problem was it wasn't the right color and the counter top had to be customized...like the rest of the castle kitchen. So my creative mind went to work.
This was the frame the counter top sat on...it's not your typical counter-top. |
Here's the counter-top screwed together and mounted to the frame to attach it. |
I had to measure the length to cut the 2x8s |

finished staining and all the modern day equipment in place |
Had to "disguise" the controls for the central air/heat.... I just live in a home-like-castle...I have all the comforts of modern day technology!! |

built in a day stained in 2... goes perfect with the rest of my castle ;o) |
